Mila Composer is a singer, songwriter and performer with a rare vocal spectrum reaching from baritone to soprano. Born in Poland, having lived in Hamburg and based on Mallorca for many years, she brings a multi-layered European life story into her music.
Her compositions often feel cinematic: they tell stories of change, longing, healing and inner strength. Mila’s way of composing is unusual – she experiences songs as complete musical ideas, with melody and harmony appearing as inner sound-images, which she then translates at the piano.
In the artistic village of Deià on Mallorca she received strong recognition for her original songs at open mics and private concerts. Her piece „I Need the Rush“ drew particular attention and was praised by artists including Bob Geldof and Juan Graves.
Today, Mila performs a carefully curated selection of around 50–60 covers alongside her own songs, uniting vocal power, sensitivity and expressive movement. Her repertoire ranges from Tina Turner and David Bowie to Whitney Houston and selected musical pieces – always interpreted in her own emotional language.
Her current focus lies on live performances, the placement of her songs in film scenes and the development of concert formats together with professional instrumentalists.
